Odyssey Charter School Dress Code

In keeping with the school’s traditional approach to education, Odyssey requires all of its students to wear a school uniform. 

Uniform shirts, uniform bottoms (pants/skirts/shorts/jumper), and sweaters must be purchased from our clothing vendor, Flynn and O’Hara or Land's End - NO EXCEPTIONS! 
 
The expectation for school appearance is that all students present themselves in a clean and tidy manner, within the proper uniform code.

Our Dress Code is as follows:

Girls:

• Uniform bottoms may be tan pants, skorts, or shorts.  A blue plaid jumper or skirt is also permitted.  
• Pants and shorts must be worn with belts (blue, black, or brown).
• White, peter-pan collar shirts may only be worn with the jumper.
• Polo shirts must be navy or white, short or long sleeve, with the OCS emblem. Long sleeve shirts MAY NOT be worn under short sleeved shirts.  Shirts are to always be tucked in.
• Sweaters must be navy with the OCS emblem or the OCS fleece.
• Socks should be solid color black, white, or blue.
• Tights are to be solid black, white, or blue.
• Hairstyles - No mohawks, shaved designs, colored hair, or spiked hair permitted.

You may place a uniform order with Land's End over the phone, online, or by visiting one of the Land's End School departments usually found in Sears.

PLEASE NOTE:  Land's End only offers Pants, Shorts, Skorts, Embroidered Shirts & Accessories.  Jumpers, skirts and sweaters can only be purchased through Flynn and O'Hara.

Used Uniform Program
If you have well-maintained (no holes, no stains) OCS uniform items to donate, please send your clean, fresh-laundered, item(s) into school with your child in a bag.  Please include, in the bag, a note listing the donated items and sizes.

To obtain a Used Uniform Item you can:

1. Attend the Used Uniform Sale.  It is held right before the monthly PTO meeting from from 6:30-7pm.  Each item sells for $5.00.  Checks or cash only.
   
   
2. Contact Upper School at 655-5760 if you are unable to attend the sale on PTO meeting evenings.
